The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall comes to Red Hook, September 16–20, 2027.
September 16–20, 2027 · Red Hook, NY
The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall®, a three-fifths scale replica of the memorial in Washington carrying the names of more than 58,000 Americans who died in Vietnam, comes to Red Hook alongside the Some Gave All Moving Tribute, honoring those lost from September 11, 2001 to today.

Red Hook VFW Post 7765 brings together veterans who served in foreign wars and campaigns, supports their families, and gives back to the Red Hook community that has supported us for decades.
The Post is home to our canteen, a hall available to rent, The Bunker golf simulators, our Honor Guard, and the VFW Auxiliary. Members and guests are welcome during canteen hours.

The VFW Auxiliary to Post 7765
Spouses, parents, children, siblings and grandchildren of eligible veterans work alongside the Post on programs, events and outreach. Led by President Lori Juszkiewcz.

Ribs for $25, served with a baked potato, corn on the cob and Caesar salad. Dine in or take it home.

VFW Post & Auxiliary 7765 present a night of dueling pianos at the Post. Tickets are $40 and include a welcome glass of champagne and the show. The kitchen will be open with light menu options from our Auxiliary.
All proceeds benefit VFW Post & Auxiliary 7765 and their work for our veterans and our community.
Join us at 10:00 AM at Red Hook Memorial Park as we honor all who served.
Following the ceremony, free hot dogs and refreshments at the VFW Post 7765 Hall, 30 Elizabeth Street. All veterans, their families and our community are welcome.

Upcoming meetings
A committee restructured our five-year capital fund campaign after taking feedback from local leaders. After reviewing every category, securing bids, and planning for what best serves the Post long term, we reduced the goal from $1.5 million to $715,379.
Thanks to our members, neighbors and local businesses, we have raised $214,000 so far.
Your gift keeps the Post building open and in good repair for the veterans and families who depend on it.
The VFW Banquet Hall is available to rent for parties, showers, memorials, meetings and community events.

When an American flag is worn, torn, faded or badly soiled, it's time to retire it. The U.S. Flag Code says a flag that is no longer a fitting emblem for display should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning. Our Flag Drop box makes that easy for everyone in the community.

Need a piece of medical equipment for yourself or a loved one? Our Medical Loan Closet is free of charge and available to the community.
We gladly accept donations of medical equipment. Please drop it off at the canteen during the same hours so someone can receive it, and make sure it's clean and in working order. Not sure if we can use an item? Call (845) 758-6212.
